Hi, I'm Tate Glendinning. I am a rising freshman at Independence High School. I moved to Westhaven in 2021 and have been a competitive swimmer with the Westhaven swim team (and Ensworth Aquatics) for almost three years. I also swam competitively in the Chicago area for another three years before moving here. In addition to swimming, I play travel baseball and love working with kids. I am looking forward to a great season!
Hi, I’m Nora Hetherington. I’m so excited to be a Westhaven coach this summer! I am a rising junior at Ravenwood High School, where I am on the swim team! I’ve been doing summer swim since I was 3 years old and have been competitively swimming at Excel Aquatics for 8 years! My favorite races are the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke! When I am not swimming, I enjoy spending time with family and friends! I am so excited to be a part of the team this year as a junior coach and can’t wait to meet everyone!!”
Hi, my name is Bennett Strohm and I will be one of the coaches this summer. I have been doing summer swim team since I was 5 years old and swam competitively for 8 years. I just finished my freshman year at the University of Georgia where I study finance. I've enjoyed coaching these past three summers and can't wait for another great season!
Hi, my name is Tristan Weismantel. I am currently a sophomore at Battle Ground Academy, where I am taking AP Computer Science and Honors primary classes. I have been swimming for around 10 years, and during that time, I have swum for the Blue Herons for two years, Ensworth Aquatics for two years, and my school swim team for three years, in addition to taking many swim lessons. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends and working on coding and engineering projects. I am thrilled to be part of the team and look forward to an amazing season!
Hey y'all! I am Ellery Blackburn and I am one of the coaches for this season! I graduate from St. Cecilia Academy in May and will attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in the fall! I swam competitively for Nashville Aquatic Club and have coached for them this past year. I have worked with the Westhaven Swim Team for the past 3 summer and am excited for this season!
Hi! My name is Sophia Pryles. I am a rising senior at Father Ryan High School. I play rugby for the Lady Irish and the Nashville Nighthawks. I have been a swimmer for most of my life, currently swimming for the FRHS swim team. I also volunteer for the Nashville Dolphins, a non-profit that provides swim lessons for children and adults with special needs. I love working with kids. I have one brother, Finch who also swims on the Blue Herons. I'm looking forward to a great summer season!
Hi, my name is Colin Adams. I have participated in summer swim since I was 6 and this will be my third year with the Blue Herons, second year coaching. I am a rising Senior at Independence High School where I am an active member in Theater, as well as clubs such as Student Council, Honors Society, and Best Buddies. I am excited for antoher great summer season!
Hi, my name is Noah Hindman. I moved from Arizona 4 years ago. I've been swimming for 8 years, 3 of them with the Westhaven Blue Herons. My favorite swimming stroke is breaststroke. I enjoy swimming, fishing, mountain biking, and running track. I'm looking forward to another summer with the Westhaven Blue Herons!
Erin Pryles comes to the Westhaven Swim Team with a wealth of knowledge that she is excited to share with our coaches and team members. Her love for the sport runs deep as she has over 30 years of teaching/coaching experience.
Erin has participated at various levels of coaching which include: collegiate, high school, summer league and year around. She earned a scholarship to Colorado State University where she also became an assistant coach for 4 years. She then coached at Martin's Landing Summer Swim Team in Roswell, Georgia for 10 years, Centennial High School Swim Team in Roswell, Georgia for 4 years, Northern Nevada Aquatics in Reno, Nevada for 2 years and is currently coaching ages 7-10 at Ensworth Aquatics.
