Nashville Dolphins Swim-A-Thon this Friday, 6/21

Hi Blue Heron Families again this time with the attachment,

On Friday, June 21st, we will participate in our 4th annual Swim-A-Thon. The Swim-A-Thon is a fundraiser that the Williamson County Summer Swim League supports. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Nashville Dolphins, a comprehensive swim program for people with special needs.

Did You Know?

Last year, the Westhaven Blue Herons were the top fundraising team of the Williamson County Swim League for this event! Woohoo! Let’s show the Nashville Dolphins our amazing support this year as well!

What is a Swim-A-Thon?

Swimmers ask family members and/or friends to sponsor them with a donation or per lap amount. Our goal is 25$ per swimmer.

When is the Swim-A-Thon?

Friday, June 21st our swimmers will swim laps during their normal practice time. We’ll have refreshments, play music & have a fun day with friends. The Nashville Dolphins will be joining us during the teenagers' practice from 11-12. We would love to have everyone join us & encourage their swimmers if you are available.

How does a Swim-A-Thon work?

Each swimmer will have a counting sheet. Our coaches will keep track of how many laps each swimmer swims. We ask our swimmers to set a goal for how many laps they think they can swim during their practice time (8-under: 30 minutes, 9-12-year-olds: 45 minutes, 13-over: 1 hour). Every year we are amazed by what our swimmers accomplish! It's a special day for everyone.
