Pool Time Tomorrow

Hi Everyone,

I hope the swimmers who have been able to attend the dryland sessions have enjoyed them so far.  Tomorrow we will have the kids get in the water!  The water temp was 76* earlier today and with the air temperature being so warm, we feel that the kids will be fine.  If your child is affected by cold water temps, but they want to try it, they can get out when they have had enough.

Just a reminder, we understand that there are many after school activities going on these next two weeks.  It is completely fine for your child to miss, however, we would love for everyone to try to make 2 or 3 practices a week, if it's possible.  The season doesn't actually officially start until June... so these practices are bonus days :).

Please make sure everything your child brings to the pool is labeled.

Swimmers should bring:  a cap, goggles, water bottle and a towel.

Swimmers should wear their swimsuits... it doesn't not have to be the team suit, but should be a swimming suit, not a bikini or recreational suit.

Swimmers with long(er) hair, will need to wear a swim cap. When swimmers try to swim with their hair down or in ponytails, it changes the way their head moves in the water and makes it more difficult to swim.

Each swimmer will be given 1 team cap.  After the first cap, we will have a small amount for purchase.  Please keep track of your team cap... they will be important for the swim meets.  If you would like to wear a different cap during practice and save the team cap for meets, that is fine.

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

See you tomorrow.

~Erin
